Before and After at Ilkley Cemetery
Examples of the great work done by the The Friends of Ilkley Cemetery during August.
They are volunteers and normally meet weekly for an hour or so most Tuesday afternoons in the Cemetery, weather permitting. Their activities include simple gardening jobs to remove brambles and saplings from overgrown graves, uncovering hidden graves, leaf clearing and litter picking.
It's a huge space and despite recent dry weather, there is plenty to do, so additional help is always welcome.
