You will see from the Programme that members are invited to the opening of this year’s Civic Society Exhibition on the Great Flood of 1900.  This opening coincides with Civic Day.

The Exhibition will run from 14 June to 28 July during the Manor House opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

We are looking for volunteers from our membership to be in attendance on these days, either in a morning between 11 am and 1.30 pm or in the afternoon between 1.30 pm and 3.30/4 pm.  We will be drawing up a rota, and if you are able to volunteer to help at some point, please could you let either Alex or Kate know your availability.   There will be a briefing session on Tuesday 17 June at 10.30 am in the Manor House to give volunteers more information on the Exhibition.
