Ilkley Civic Society Heritage Walk – Eastern Hydros

On Saturday July 25 at 2pm we meet at the junction of Cowpasture Road and Wheatley Road.  We shall be remembering Marlborough House and Stoney Lea Hydros.

We shall take a look at Rockwood Hydro, Troutbeck and finish the walk with a visit to Craiglands. At Craiglands we shall explore the hydropathic architecture. In the bar there will be an exhibition about earlier times at the Craiglands. We welcome people to share their memories of Craiglands.

Please note part of the walk will be on a moorside path which is uneven and currently quite overgrown in places.
